The basic activity in town is the unirrigated agriculture. Vineyards and cereal are the most important farming elements. In the past, the town was an important centre for the production and distribution of saffron, from which it still remains an only factory, ' Espčcies Corbella'.
The town also has a grocery store, a bakery, two restaurants, a hairdresser salon, a few builders and an electrician. There is a duty chemist's four days a week, a consulting room from Monday to Friday and a post office. |
